A lot of dumpster companies push a wall of sizes at you: 10-yard, 20-yard, 30-yard, 40-yard, then let you guess. We run one size on purpose. A 15-yard dumpster sits right between the 10 and the 20, which is the sweet spot for residential work. It swallows a full garage cleanout or a kitchen tear-out without taking up half the driveway like a 30-yard would.
For scale, a 15-yard holds roughly six pickup-truck loads of debris. That covers a whole-house cleanout, a bath or kitchen remodel, a roof tear-off on most homes, and a serious yard cleanup. The 1.5 ton weight allowance built into the price handles the large majority of those loads without you ever thinking about it.
The only jobs that outgrow it are big commercial demos or heavy material like a driveway full of concrete, and we do not take concrete anyway. If you are genuinely unsure whether one dumpster will hold your project, tell us what you are clearing and we will give you a straight answer before we deliver.
